“There is nothing on this earth to be prized more than true friendships” Thomas Aquinas
Some say that everything has its price. Do you think the same holds true when it comes to friendships? Are true friendships negotiable? As adults, we have probably had our share of “false starts” when it comes to finding those we consider “true friends”. Like most things in life, finding good friends will sometimes simply come down to experiencing the trial and error of meeting people we enjoy being around and who enjoy being around us.
However, the journey to finding good friends will always be worth the investment. When wonderful friendships are formed, the result can be the creation of lifelong bonds that cannot be easily broken. Having friends we can spend time with, talk to, and laugh with is priceless. Knowing this, one can agree with the words of Thomas Aquinas. True friendships are to be prized.
Amen to that!
